SYMPTOMS

• When creating a sample set method in Empower using the Wizard, the options to select a dissolution type are unavailable ("grayed out")

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3, all platforms

CAUSE

The dissolution option license is not installed and activated.

To determine if you have it or not, log in to Empower and click on the small letter "i" for information. Look under installed options. Do you see Dissolution in the list?

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. Purchase the Dissolution license for your environment type.
2. Activate license as described in WKB1918.
3. Enable the option in the project as described in WKB68675.
