After processing data in Empower 3, the audit trail time stamps for the results predate the time stamp for processing method creation - WKB20788

SYMPTOMS

• Time stamp of results predate the processing method creation time stamp
• Injections are brought into review and processed individually; they are not batch processed

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

This is normal behavior. The user integrates and quantitates each result and then, after all are done, they select File > Save All. Then, per full audit trail requirements, they must enter a reason and password for each of the results. The time stamp recorded in the audit trail for the results is from the actual result creation date/time (when the data is integrated and quantitated), not when results are saved. For this reason, the audit trail time stamp for the results may be prior to the processing method's date and time of creation.
