Empwer error message "Method download failed because module is offline!" for Agilent LC with ICFSL v3.5 - WKB207291

SYMPTOMS

• The error message "Method download failed because module is offline!" appears in the Empower message center when running an Agilent LC
• Agilent LC instrument module temporarily goes into offline state

ENVIRONMENT

• Agilent ICFSL v3.5

CAUSE

With Agilent LC Driver 3.3 (part of ICFSL v3.5), due to error handling, new locks are introduced at the driver level. This results in frequent occurrences of this problem.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Fixed in ICF SL 3.5.1
