Is it possible to restore Empower methods and method sets to an earlier version? - WKB199225

ANSWER

Yes. Methods or method sets from an earlier version can be restored and used as the current version.
New versions of methods or method sets are retained by the software so they don’t get lost.

When a user saves a method or a method set, the software creates it as a new version and
does not overwrite the earlier version. Therefore, you can revoke a previously saved version and use it as the current version.

To determine which version of the method you want to use, you can compare two versions of a single method (such as two versions of a single processing method) or two methods of the same type (such as two different processing methods).

To restore a previous version of a method, method set, or template:

  1. On the Methods tab, select the method, method set, or template to restore.
  2. Right-click and choose Method Properties.
  3. In the Method History table, click an earlier saved version of the saved method or method set.
  4. Click Save As Current, and then click Yes to list the earlier version in the first row of the table.
  5. Click OK.
