CRI-2116 - Incorrect custom field value for named unknown peak - WKB192000

Article number: 192000

SYMPTOMS

For a quantitated unknown peak that is named using “RT Reference Used to Name Unnamed Peaks by RRT”, the custom fields may be calculated incorrectly. The custom calculation can be incorrect because values from the wrong peak are used in the calculation.

ENVIRONMENT

  • Empower
  • Custom fields

CAUSE

When default peaks are used for quantitation, the attributes for quantitation of an unknown peak (for example, Component Type custom fields) are obtained from the default peak.

FIX or WORKAROUND

If the field "RT Reference Used to Name Unnamed Peaks by RRT" is populated, the attributes for quantitation of the unknown peak are incorrectly obtained from the peak named in "RT Reference Used to Name Unnamed Peaks by RRT" instead of from the relevant default peak.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is CRI-2116.

It affects only custom fields that need to obtain values from the default peak.

Quantitation should not be affected because the values come from the component listed as the RT Reference.
