Special default custom fields cannot be copied to project - WKB190727

SYMPTOMS

• Cannot copy special default custom fields to a project in the project window

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower
• Default Custom Fields
• ColumnName
• ColumnSerial Number

CAUSE

Special or reserved custom fields cannot be copied to projects. This includes certain SQT custom fields and the two default fields containing Column.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. From the custom field tab of the project properties use the 'Move to Project' function.
2. Use the clone project function

NOTE: The default custom fields are in every project and cannot be deleted therefore when saving them to a project there is no audit trail recorded.
