Copy Preferences does not work as expected in Empower 3 Software - WKB19055

SYMPTOMS

• When copying preferences to many users or projects, the preferences are not actually being copied

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

Defects in software

FIX or WORKAROUND

Multiple PCS defects are logged for issues with Copy Preferences.  See PCS 53566 and PCS 52307 on the Waters website.

Alternatively customer can purchase a Waters PS tool - p/n 750001081 (Empower Preferences Manager), which manages the preferences in an advanced way.
