What is the setting for Waters Services on a Citrix server? - WKB18206

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3 Feature Release 1
• Empower 3 Enterprise
• Citrix

ANSWER

• The Waters Service, DHCP services, and Waters File service "Startup Type" should be set to "disabled".
• If there are any ICS's on the Citrix server, the Waters Companion Service "Startup Type" should be set to "Automatic", and the  Status should be "Started".

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Citrix Server and the Empower Database / Raw Data server the Waters DHCP server service disabled.

Waters Service is required on the Empower Raw Data server. Waters service should be disabled on the Citrix Servers.
