ANSWER

Yes.

Sometimes the oraclejobs password may need to be changed. For example, if a customer's corporate password complexity requirements mean that the default oraclejobs password (used by wdm) does not work, backups will fail.

The password needs to be changed in two places

1 - Windows.

• Search for My Computer or This PC
• Right click on 'This PC' and select 'Manage'
• Select Users and Groups
• Select Users
• Right Click on 'oraclejobs' and select Set Password (click proceed in the warning message)
• Enter new password

2 - The password must also be modified in the WDM application itself. 

• Open WDM and log in
• Go to Manage backups
• Select Application Admin > Manage Application Configuration.
• Modify the parameter for "OS JOB PASSWORD".
• Enter exactly the same new password that you created at step 1 (The two passwords must match.)

This does not require reinstallation of WDM.
