Users are not displayed in the Empower "Select users from LDAP tree" window - WKB12617

SYMPTOMS

• The results displayed in the "Select users from LDAP tree" window do not expand, and no users are shown

ENVIRONMENT

• LDAP in Empower environments

CAUSE

The LDAP search criteria are incorrect.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. In the Authentication dialog window, do not include the information from the Domain Component field in the search criteria window.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Ensure that the Domain Components field is filled in correctly. In the example above, it is. The domain is actually emp3.net, but each component needs to be added as an individual item, as shown above. 

As a test, try just the Search Criteria of either OU=People or CN=Users
