Empower 3 error message states that the method in use cannot be deleted - WKB125786

SYMPTOMS

• "Cannot delete a method in use" appears and the method cannot be deleted

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3

CAUSE

The method editor screen of the corresponding method is open on another screen.
It is recognized as being used even though it is not in use.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. If the method editor screen of the corresponding method is open on another screen, open a method with a different name so that the corresponding method is not open, and then delete it.

2. If the method editor screen of the corresponding method is not open on another screen, restart Empower, and then delete the corresponding method.

3. If Solution 2 does not help, delete the method after restarting the PC.
