Blank standard does not show up in the Empower calibration curve - WKB119942

SYMPTOMS

• Standard concentrations of 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100
• The 0 standard does not show up in the curve
• Objective is to have the calibration curve go through zero

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower

CAUSE

0 standard does not have a peak, so it will be missing when integrated. Therefore, it does not show up in the calibration curve.

FIX or WORKAROUND

The best way to have the calibration curve go through 0 is to use Linear thru Zero fit in the processing method.
