OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Turn off the active plunger seal wash for the Alliance HPLC System.

PROCEDURE.

You can also turn off the seal wash through the front panel of the Alliance HPLC System:

1. On the main screen, select the Default method and click Edit.
2. Select Stroke Volume/Seal Wash from the bottom of the screen.
3. Specify the value for the Pump Seal Wash Period, from 0.1 to 10 min. Clearing the value will turn off the seal wash. Save the method.
4. From the Status screen, select the Default method and run it.
