Turn off the active plunger seal wash for the Alliance HPLC System.

PROCEDURE.
You can also turn off the seal wash through the front panel of the Alliance HPLC System:
- On the main screen, select the Default method and click Edit.
- Select Stroke Volume/Seal Wash from the bottom of the screen.
- Specify the value for the Pump Seal Wash Period, from 0.1 to 10 min. Clearing the value will turn off the seal wash. Save the method.
- From the Status screen, select the Default method and run it.
