Error: OCI Invalid Handle in the Empower Message Center - WKB11341

SYMPTOMS

• ORA 00904 Sample set (name) Cal_Do invalid identifier
• OCI_Invalid Handle in the Empower Message Center 

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 2 
• Empower 3

CAUSE

Custom fields exist in the report method, but not in the project.

FIX or WORKAROUND

1. If a report contains empty fields (or if a whole table is blank), look for custom fields that exist in the Report Method, but not in the project. This will most likely be the result of copying Report Methods from one project to another.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Opening a report containing custom fields not present in the project can be very slow.
