Empower 3 user cannot open chromatograms - WKB108353

SYMPTOMS

• Error occurs for only one user
• User encounters the error "Chrom open for read failed file (file name)// Logon user failure"
• User recently changed their domain network password

ENVIRONMENT

• Empower 3
• Empower Enterprise

CAUSE

System is using a cached password that did not update throughout the server.

FIX or WORKAROUND

Issue will resolve itself when given enough time for the password to update throughout the server.
