ANSWER

Because of the diversity of applications associated with SPE cartridges, it is the policy of Waters to consign the task of expiration dating of the SPE device individual lots to the customer. Waters strongly recommends that the expiration date be assigned by the customer, based on his or her specific application.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Good chemical practice dictates that chemicals and reagents (including cartridges) stored beyond three to five years should be re-evaluated for use or replacement. Waters recommends that the customer establish a protocol for re-evaluation after a predetermined date.
