Does Waters offer a vial or plate option that has less than 10 µL residual volume for use on an ACQUITY Premier system with Flow Through Needle (FTN)? - WKB233791

Article number: 233791

ENVIRONMENT

  • Vials
  • 96-well plate
  • Low residual volume

ANSWER

Yes, the 96-well Sample Collection Plate, 700 µL Round well (186005837) has a residual volume of 8 µL per well.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Total Recovery Vials have a residual volume of 10 µL for a FTN (Flow Through Needle) injector. If you require less than 10 µL residual volume and want to use Total Recovery Vials, you would need to check with a Field Service Engineer if this is possible. For example, it might be possible to lower the needle in order to pick up more sample, but always verify before attempting to lower the needle. Lowering the needle can damage the needle.
