How do I use the Positive Pressure Manifold (186006961) with a 96-Well µElution plate? - WKB232035

Article number: 232035

OBJECTIVE or GOAL

Use the Positive Pressure Manifold to extract samples processed through a 96-well µElution plate.

ENVIRONMENT

  • Positive Pressure Manifold
  • 96-well µElution plate

PROCEDURE

  1. Connect a pressure regulator to the gas supply and set the regulator to 80 psi.
  2. After connecting the module to the gas supply, the Positive Pressure Manifold is ready to use.
  3. Stack the collection plate, supplied µElution plate spacer, and 96-well µElution plate on top of the spacer.
  4. Slide the PP96P tray forward and position the plate stack on the four pins on the tray.
  5. Push the tray with stack under the manifold head.
  6. Lower the manifold head onto the plate to seal the plate.
  7. The processor has two gas flow controllers. Adjust the selector valve to low flow, and then gradually increase gas pressure by adjusting the regulator and rotometer until you see approximately one drop per second coming through the plate.
