Is it OK to injection samples of an oligonucleotide-protein conjugate onto an XBridge Oligonucleotide BEH C18, 130A column? - WKB98499

Article number: 98499

ENVIRONMENT

  • Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC)
  • High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
  • Column
  • Column equivalency
  • Bridged Ethylene Hybrid (BEH)

ANSWER

Yes.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It is possible that an oligonucleotide-protein conjugate may be too large to enter the 130A pores of this packing material. If they are too large, they are expected to elute in the void volume (unretained).

Use a shallow gradient. If you ramp up the gradient percent too quickly, the protein portion of the conjugate could precipitate and foul the column.
