Which Ultrahydrogel columns does Waters recommend for analyzing polysaccharides with a molecular weight range from 80 kDa down to as low as 100 Da? - WKB97632

Article number: 97632

ENVIRONMENT

  • High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
  • Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC)
  • Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC)
  • Gel Filtration Chromatography (GFC)
  • Column
  • Polysaccharides
  • Water-Soluble Polymers

ANSWER

Install the guard, and then the following columns from largest pore size to smallest pore size:

  • WAT011565 - Ultrahydrogel Guard Column, 125Å, 6 µm, 6 mm x 40 mm, 1/pk
  • WAT011530 - Ultrahydrogel Column, 500Å, 10 µm, 7.8 mm x 300 mm, 5K - 400K, 1/pk
  • WAT011525 - Ultrahydrogel Column, 250Å, 6 µm, 7.8 mm x 300 mm, 1K - 80K, 1/pk
  • WAT011520 - Ultrahydrogel Column, 120Å, 6 µm, 7.8 mm x 300 mm, 100 - 5K, 1/pk

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

We recommend the 500A column because the molecular weight distribution of the polysaccharides could be higher than 80 kDa.
