3 to 5 mL of 20% to 40% acetic acid

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

You may need to reduce the flow rate and elevate the temperature in order to decrease pressure during cleaning.

Alternative cleaning options:

• Flush with 5 mL of buffer B (example: 25 mM Tris/Cl, 1.0 mM EDTA, 1.0 M NaCl, pH 8.0), and then re-equilibrate with 17 mL of buffer A (example: 25 mM Tris/Cl, 1.0 mM EDTA, pH 8.0).
• Inject 3 to 5 mL of 40 mM phosphoric acid, flush with 5 mL of buffer B, and then re-equilibrate with 17 mL of buffer A (example: 25 mM Tris/Cl, 1.0 mM EDTA, pH 8.0).

Note: 17 mL equals 10 empty column volumes.
