What is the difference between an ACQUITY M-Class 2D trap and an ACQUITY M-Class 2G trap? - WKB88593

Article number: 88593

ENVIRONMENT

  • ACQUITY M-Class
  • 2G traps
  • 2D traps

ANSWER

2G traps are designed for 1D (one-dimensional) trap-elute workflows and are bidirectional (reverse elute is possible).

2D traps are used only for 2D (two-dimensional) separation and are NOT suitable for reversed elution. They are meant to be used with only one flow direction.
