ANSWER
What has changed on the 300-μm ID columns:
The exterior and appearance of the end-nuts of the 300-μm ID columns have been redesigned
and are now suitable for tool-free operation. As finger-tight fittings become more commonplace in
the laboratory, this was a necessary step to allow for tool-free operation. The end-nuts are now
larger in outside diameter and have a knurl for an easier grip. All changes to the hardware are
cosmetic in nature and are external only.
What has not changed on the 300-μm ID columns:
The interior of the column, such as the port size, frit, flow path, and packing, and the assembly procedure
for the columns are identical to those of columns we have sold and shipped since the introduction of the
M-Class. These columns are chromatographically identical to the M-Class columns.
