ANSWER

Flush the column with a solvent that better dissolves the possible contaminants. 

Increase the temperature (within the temperature range of the column and the solvent) to increase cleaning efficiency.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Reversing the column flow and increasing the temperature is also possible as a last resort if cleaning in the normal direction does not work well. Reduce flow to 0.1mL/min when cleaning in the reverse direction.
