Waters recommends using the equivalent analytical columns with the end nuts already attached.
In a continuing effort to streamline our HPLC column offerings, select HPLC cartridges are discontinued. As of January 1, 2019, Waters discontinued HPLC cartridge column formats in lieu of better-performing analytical column formats. Specifically, all Symmetry™, XTerra™, Nova-Pak™, and Spherisorb™ cartridge columns are discontinued and replaced with the equivalent analytical column format.
In cases where there is no HPLC column equivalent (for example, Spherisorb ODS-B), Waters will continue to offer the HPLC cartridge.
