ANSWER

All three designations refer to the same particle technology (bridged ethylene hybrid).  The Differences are as follows:

ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18: (130A)

  • This type of column is packed in traditional stainless-steel hardware (frits and column body).
  • The bulk packing used in this column is first QC tested with a small molecule test mix to ensure batch to batch reproducibility.

ACQUITY UPLC Peptide BEH C18 (130A and 300A)

  • This type of column is packed in traditional stainless-steel hardware (frits and column body).
  • The bulk packing used in this column is first QC tested with a peptide test mix (cytochrome C tryptic digest) to ensure batch to batch reproducibility for peptide separations.

ACQUITY Premier Peptide BEH C18 (130A and 300A)

  • This type of column is packed in MaxPeak High Performance Surfaces (HPS) hardware.
    • Very inert column frits and column body.
    • Better peptide recovery out of the box.
  • The bulk packing used in this column is first QC tested with a peptide test mix (cytochrome C tryptic digest) to ensure batch to batch reproducibility for peptide separations.
