What does "T3" mean? - WKB52257

Article number: 52257

ENVIRONMENT

  • T3
  • Polar compound retention

ANSWER

"T3" is a term used by Waters to designate columns that have a trifunctionally bonded, low ligand density, C18 bonded phase, with proprietary endcapping.

T3 columns are designed to retain polar compounds in a reverse-phase mode of chromatography.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Current T3 columns include the following:

CORTECS T3 — This bulk packing is QC tested with small molecules to ensure batch-to-batch separation reproducibility.

ACQUITY UPLC HSS T3 — This bulk packing is QC tested with small molecules to ensure batch-to-batch separation reproducibility.

ACQUITY UPLC Peptide HSS T3 — This bulk packing is QC tested with a cytochrome C tryptic digest to ensure batch-to-batch peptide separation reproducibility.

XSelect HSS T3 — This bulk packing is QC tested with small molecules to ensure batch-to-batch separation reproducibility.

XSelect Peptide HSS T3 — This bulk packing is QC tested with a cytochrome C tryptic digest to ensure batch-to-batch peptide separation reproducibility.

Atlantis T3 — This bulk packing is QC tested with small molecules to ensure batch-to-batch separation reproducibility.
