The chemistry can run in 100% water, but it is a HILIC mode column and water is the strong solvent. This means re-equilibration of the column will take longer. The amide linker will begin to swell as aqueous is increased upwards to 40%. If running in >40% water, slow the flow rate to one-half normal. The back pressure will come back down gradually as the column returns to more optimal mobile phase conditions under 40% aqueous.
