ANSWER
A 10-µm particle size, 30-mm ID guard cartridge can be used in front of the 50-mm ID Prep columns.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Use caution to slowly move the guard and column up to the 50-mm ID flow rate.
Using a 30mm ID guard cartridge (5um) should contribute an PSI increase but not too much. Both components are rated up to 6000 psi.
