ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Avoid the use of glass mobile phase container filters/sinkers for the high-pH mobile phases. The reverse-phase oligo application typically runs at pH >7, which is ideal for the oligos but not for glass mobile phase container filters/sinkers; the high pH dissolves the borosilicate filter fibers faster. Dissolved silicate particles can clog columns and change the surface chemistry of the columns.

Use titanium mobile phase container filters or high-quality Waters Critical Clean Stainless Steel mobile phase filters.
