ANSWER
UPLC:
- ACQUITY Premier Protein SEC 250A columns, 1.7µm, 4.6mm I.D.
UHPLC:
- XBridge Premier Protein SEC 250A columns, 2.5µm, 4.6 or 7.8mm I.D.
HPLC:
- XBridge Premier Protein SEC 250A columns, 2.5µm, 7.8mm I.D.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
ACQUITY Premier and XBridge Premier Protein columns exhibit an innovative technology called "MaxPeak High Performance Surfaces" (MaxPeak HPS). This new technology incorporates a modified surface on the stainless steel inside the columns, which prevents analyte adsorption to the steel surfaces. These columns also use a new PEO (polyethylene oxide) ligand that is extremely hydrophilic and prevents non-specific, hydrophobic adsorption to the particle.
This combination of MaxPeak HPS technology and PEO ligand greatly enhances analyte recovery over traditional SEC columns.
