What reverse-phase column is recommended for analysis of a PEGylated small molecule? - WKB207472

Article number: 207472

ENVIRONMENT

  • Method development
  • Small molecule analysis
  • Reverse-phase columns
  • CORTECS
  • XBridge

ANSWER

Reverse-phase column options to explore for PEGylated small molecules are CORTECS C8 or C18 2.7 µm and for higher PEG molecular weight try XBridge BEH300 C18 or XBridge BEH300 C4.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Higher PEG molecular weight (>2K) may require hotter column temperatures to achieve good results.
