What is the difference between HSS T3 and BEH C18 packings? - WKB116475

Article number: 116475

ENVIRONMENT

  • Bridged ethylene hybrid (BEH)
  • High-strength silica (HSS)
  • Polar retention

ANSWER

HSS T3 is a fully porous silica packing with a low ligand density, trifunctionally-bonded C18, and proprietary endcapping. HSS T3 packings can run in 100% aqueous mobile phase and are designed to retain both polar and nonpolar compounds.

BEH C18 is a fully porous hybrid packing with a high ligand density, trifunctionally-bonded C18, and endcappinbg. BEH C18 packings have wide pH and temperature ranges. This packing is not designed to retain polar compounds.
