ANSWER

Several things could be causing this:

1. Cartridge not seated in the end fitting

To correct this problem, disassemble and properly seat the cartridge.

2. Particles on the face of the O-ring or metal seat

To correct this problem, wipe clean with a cotton-tip applicator.

3. Worn O-ring

Replace the worn O-ring with a new one (186007012).
