ANSWER

If the Tris Calcium Chloride buffer salt is not present, RapiZyme Trypsin will still digest the protein.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Use of the Tris Calcium Chloride enhances the activity of RapiZyme Trypsin and, in buffered conditions at pH 7.5, reduces some non-specific cleavage.
