Is the amino acid cell culture standard (186009300) still good if stored at 4 °C for two weeks instead of -10 to -25 °C? - WKB236825

Article number: 236825

ENVIRONMENT

  • Standards care and use
  • Amino acid standard
  • Amino acid analysis (AAA)

ANSWER

Storage conditions for Waters products are assigned based on recommended long-term storage. To achieve the maximum shelf life, it is recommended that product be stored at the assigned temperature.

Short-term (less than seven days) deviations from the assigned storage temperature will not adversely affect the products's shelf life. As a result, most Waters products will ship at ambient temperature regardless of the necessary long-term storage. The shipment of freezer-stored products is expedited to minimize the duration of deviations and allow customers time to receive product and transfer it to the appropriate storage conditions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Glutamine is not stable for long periods outside recommended storage conditions.
